Reichmann family tree

The Reichmanns originally came from a small town named Beled in Hungary, but the ambitious Samuel Reichmann moved them to Vienna in 1928 where he became a successful merchant. He and his wife Renée had six children:

Albert Reichmann is a Canadian businessman. He is one of five brothers who controlled the Reichmann business empire.

Paul Reichmann was a Canadian businessman and member of the Reichmann family. He was best known for his leadership of the Olympia & York real estate development company.

Philip Reichmann

Philip Reichmann is a co-Founding Partner of ReichmannHauer Capital Partners. Philip began his formal career as a commercial leasing representative at Olympia & York Developments Limited, in 1978. In subsequent years, he was also involved in the development of World Financial Center in New York, and Canary Wharf in London, England.

In 1993, together with his partner and cousin-in-law, Frank Hauer, Philip formed O&Y Properties Inc. to manage and lease a portfolio of ten office properties consisting of nine million square feet.
