Om Prakash Jindal, popularly known as O.P. Jindal, was born in Hisar, Haryana. He established a successful business enterprise Jindal Steel and Power under the flagship of the Jindal Organization, of which he was the chairman. Her ability to work with both home-grown and foreign design talent helps bring an exciting change to the Mumbai skyline.

Supporting and promoting the arts is second nature to the Jindal family. Mrs. Handa brought ST+ART to Mumbai for various initiatives. This organisation aims to bring art to the people through street festivals and public installations. She is currently in the process of revamping the online, digital and media strategy for Art India, the country’s leading art magazine.

Mrs. Handa is also on the board of Victoria Mills, a museum for children and a creative hub that will be open to the public at large. Integration and inclusion are the cornerstones of Mrs. Handa’s work. To this end she is collaborating with the Mumbai Municipal Corporation to create free use of public toilets.
