Ivan Janša, baptized and best known as Janez Janša, is a Slovenian politician who is currently serving as prime minister of Slovenia, a position he had previously also held from 2004 to 2008, and from 2012 to 2013. He is notoriously known for prosecuting journalists in Slovenia for reporting not in favor of his government.

He is married to Urška Bačovnik Janša and his four children: Žan Janša, Nika Janša, Črtomir Janša, Jakob Janša
