Hassan Rouhani is an Iranian politician serving as the seventh President of Iran since 3 August 2013.
Hassan Rouhani’s father was Haj Asdollah Fereydoon Rohani. His mother was Sakineh Peivandi who died in March 2015 with 90 years of age.
Hassan Rouhani has five children: incl Mohammd Rouhani who commited suicide in Tehran in 1996, Majid Rouhani and three daughters.
His brother Hossein Fereydoun has two children living abroad: Ali Fereydoun and Maryam Fereydoun. Maryam is married to Sajjad Khoshroo, the son of the diplomat and former ambassador Gholamali Khosroo.
Fun fact: His wife is his maternal cousin.
