Dhirubhai Ambani is the founder of Reliance Industries Limited, which is India’s largest Private Sector Company. Credited with various monetary advancements in the Indian capital business sectors. Dhirubhai was born on 28th December 1932, in Chorwad, in the district of Junagarh, Gujrat.
His dad, Hirachand Govardhandas Ambani, procured little as the town teacher. He was, nonetheless, a man of basic propensities and carried on with a deliberate life. Dhirubhai’s mom, Jamanaben, was a frugal lady and realized how to extend every penny far.
He got married to Kokilaben in the year 1955. They were blessed with 2 sons and 2 daughters, named Mukesh, Anil, Dipti and, Nina.
Mukesh Ambani’s net worth today is $74 billion, making him the 5th richest man in the world. While on the other end his brother, Anil Ambani who is the chairman of Reliance Group is running on the blurry lines of bankruptcy. Nina Ambani(now Nina Kothari), plays the role of family peacemaker between the brothers, maintaining its integrity. Dipti Ambani (now Dipti Salgaokar) is a homemaker, currently settled in Goa.
From an early age, he began putting his head into the retail business by selling ground oil. He further started setting up food stalls at village fairs and gave whatever profit he made to his mother. From setting up stalls to conquering the yarn and textile industries in his later years, he built a great reputation amongst other industrialists, nationally as well as internationally.
