• Born in Chengtian Town, Chaonan District, Shantou City, Guangdong Province in 1940.
• In 1957, he and his wife Huang Huiqing graduated from the Finance and Trade Cadre School and responded to the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to work in Hainan Island, where conditions were difficult. [9]
• While working in Hainan, Ma Chen Shuguan went to Dongfang County, Hainan Province (removed from the county in March 1997 to set up Dongfang City), deputy director of the Port Authority of Basuo Town. [10]
• 1984: Transferred from the Port Authority of Hainan №8 Port Authority of the Ministry of Communications to Shenzhen Shipping Corporation and served successively as manager and general manager of the company’s accounting and financial department. [11]
• After leaving the shipping company, Ma Chenshu successively served as deputy commander of Shenzhen Yantian Port Construction Headquarters and deputy general manager of Shenzhen Yantian Port Group Co., Ltd. [12]
