Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon. Jeff Bezos is an American Entrepreneur, founder of Amazon and currently has 16 companies under his name. The commonly known ones are The Washington Post, Goodreads, Audible, Twitch and Whole Foods. He also owns Blue Origin, a privately funded company that manufactures aerospace and spaceflight service. He made his millions when Amazon went public in the year 1997 and is currently the top 10 richest person in the world.
Miguel Bezos is a Cuban immigrant and fled his country to pursue the American Dream. Jeff has applauded his father for his grit, determination and surviving in America just by knowing Spanish He said he learned his work ethics from him.
Jeff’s parents were very young at the time of his birth and Jacklyn Gise remarried when Jeff was only 4 years old to an American-Cuban Miguel Bezos, thus Jeff’s last name was changed.
