For a brief moment in 2015, his net worth had surpassed Bill Gates making him the richest person in the world. Currently, he is the second wealthiest retailer in the world. He keeps a low profile and prefers to wear simple clothes, typically none that are of Zara’s brand.

Rosalía Mera co-founded Inditex Chairman Group with her former husband, Amancio Ortega. She is the richest self-made woman in the world. She diversified her investment and bought stakes from a fish farming group, a fingerprinting system for newborns, and a major investor in Bulgari Hotel, London.

2nd Generation

Marta Ortega started out as a shop-girl folding clothes in her 20s and moved up the rack. Now, she is the senior creative consultant for Zara Woman collections. She always wearing Zara brands and mixes them with high-end clothing, staying true to her collection.

Sergio Álvarez Moya is a Spanish athlete and competes in Horse Jumping.

Sandra Ortega Mera is the second richest person in Spain and inherited her fortune from her mother, Rosalía Mera. She oversees the Fundación Paideia, a nonprofit organization that sustains vocational training for people with disabilities.
